Chad and Abby, your '75 "Mail" Jeep is a real hoot, and we enjoyed working upon it and getting it back on the road. I've driven a Mail Jeep back in the day, and enjoyed every minute of it. Many months ago I took my '01 CRV to a national chain that deals with transmission problems. They said 'Looks like you need to rebuild the tranny', at a estimated cost of $1,800 to $2,200. A friend at my wife's work recommended CERTIFIED TRANSMISSION in Prescott, where they said they couldn't find anything wrong with transmission but found a broken fitting that had something to do with Radiator and Transmission, and a fluid leak, and a busted motor mount. Cost $1.400. Waited this long to rate to see if the problem was truly fixed. IT IS and saved me the cost of rebuilt tranny. Otherwise I would have wasted $1,800+ Would have still had the problem.
